Isabel C. Jaramillo Arango joined Godínez Legal in 2011 and is a key member of the firm's preventive advisory and employment compliance practice. Her experience focuses on supporting employers in the day-to-day management of their employment relationships, the prevention of contingencies and the control of legal risks associated with personnel management, including particularly sensitive scenarios. She also participates in the negotiation and formalization of agreements before alternative dispute resolution centers.
She also participates in the firm's litigation area, both in the handling of judicial hearings and in the preparation and follow-up of appeals in labor proceedings.
Member of the Costa Rican Labor Law Association.
She additionally has particular experience in the drafting of employment contracts, the design of internal policies, the conducting of labor audits and the management of internal proceedings for sexual harassment and workplace harassment. Her profile combines legal labor advisory work with direct experience in human resources management, having previously served as Human Resources Manager in Colombian companies and multinational corporations.
She also serves as a Professor of Labor Law at the University of Costa Rica and has worked as an international consultant in the field of corporate social responsibility and social research.
